My Story

My journey has been anything but ordinary. I spent the first 20 years of my career as an art dealer because I didn’t believe I could make anything but I believed in the powerful ability of art to break down barriers, transcend time and connect people. My love affair with porcelain began 5 short years ago after one hand-building class. Within six months I was in the studio full time, creating entire bodies of work and filling orders for 25 shops across the country. I have since had to pull back and am only able to sell direct. I love the amazing people I’ve met on this journey. My hope is that I can create everyday objects that elevate our ordinary experiences.

More About Me

Born & raised in Vermont, I was referred to as “feral” as a child. It was hard to keep clothes or shoes on me. I loved running wild through woods, collecting flowers and rocks that I would arrange for hours into patterns and designs. I could also be found digging (if you can believe it) clay out of the shoreline of Lake Champlain. I formed little pots that I baked in the sun.

Creating is in my bones and DNA. From the way I style my shop, cook my food or entertain my friends. I do not see a separation between art and life. It’s all a matter of how we choose to live.

Services & Products

My first five years have been a whirlwind - the best (& most exhausting) ride of my life. I’m trying to regain some semblance of balance, still have enough product to sell and also branch out to make new work.

This past winter I started painting - I hope you will take a peek!

And the painting made it’s way onto a new line of black porcelain which you can check out here!!

I’m also working on some lighting projects… so my plate is pretty full. BUT the artist in me always wants to hear what crazy idea you might have in mind.

What began as a way to pass some time has evolved into a full time practice that includes my beautiful shop and travel to pop-ups and private house parties. I’m proud of what I’m building and I’m honored to have you on this journey with me.
